Pass mark for theory test?

Ok, ive got my theory on thursday.. ! and each time I do a practise theory test I get 70-75 % and fail. It says the pass mark is 86%. Is it 86% because tht seems quite high.. Whats the pass mark on the hazard test aswell..?
Also, does anyone hve any tips on passing it?

it was 30/35 when I did it. And something like 40 out of 60/70 on HPT. Not sure what it is these days. Google is your friend though

I did my thery test the day after my birthday, because any later and it would have been the new high price!

best of luck, just go through the software which has every question on it, if you've got a half decent memory, enough will stick to get you to pass

Don't do what I did and take 5 attempts to pass. It gets a bit expensive.

Get revising it's not hard to pass and most of it is common sense.

The theory is easy, just practice on the CD and relax, you'll be fine

It's basically the same questions asked in a slightly different way. Use common sense and when you have to guess, rule out the impossible and at worst its a 50/50 guess mostly on the odd question.
