passed my theory today! but one question..

Today i took my driving theory and passed! but this isnt the point of the thread.

I booked it for 3 oclock, and i knew the letter said ;-
'please arrive atleast 15 minutes before the test time shown above to allow us to check you in'

anyway i was running slightly late and got there at 9minutes to 3pm ( to be specific) there was only one person other than me waiting but the guy at the reception had a go at me for coming at that time. He even underlined the part it said that and made me read it again and said things like 'now i dont want to leave home late because of someone turning up late' but was still there after i left the room with more people to come.
Now was there a reason for him to be that angry for me turning up 9 mins before the test instead of 15 mins?
nothing was out of control, it wasnt as if there was lots of people waiting before i took my test....

He was just being a **** probs having a bad day or something.. Although i think id of had a word with him after id gotten my cert tbh.. what right had he to treat or talk to you like that?

oh and congrats :) good luck on the practical test :D

thanks:) was just reading through my results and found out that i scraped the hazard perception with 44 marks :eek: .. eeeesh!
 
Congrats, I think all the people at the theory test centre have a bit of a power trip, just think all those youngsters they get to boss about.
 
When I did my theory, I turned up 15 mins before, went in, went through the instructions, did the test, did the survey, and walked out with a pass of 33/35, all before my allotted start-time! :)

teheh when i done mine i done the extra questions but got asked to leave as there was a queue building :D only trying to do my bit for the dvla.
 
Aye was most likely being a tit , when i passed my theory quite a while ago i was excited to have passed yet the person behind the desk just gave me a totally filthy look, must be a bummer to work there :D.
 
also for some reason i was in a seperate room from the rest.... why was that !?

there was one big room with 10 odd PCs. and there was one available so i assumed im suppose to be there but the woman came immediately and pointed at the door... and it led to a small room with one PC.. was a very obscure moment for me.
 
I turned up 5 mins before my test after getting lost finding it, as they don't have a centre where i live :( . Never said a word to me and it was busy at the time too. Oh and i passed too :D .

Ooh, I got 46 when I did mine and then 33/35 on the other one; I turned up early and had finished even before my scheduled time. :)
 
Well done.

When i went for mine the place was packed. There was a waiting room half full and then there were about 20 PCs for the theory test all occupied. As soon as someone finished another person would be ushered through. I got there within 2 mins of the test time and they didn't say anything.

I got 34/35 on the questions and 54/75 on the hazard perception.
