I god damn hate those ********! On the subject of NSL roads, my ex-gf thought all NSL roads were 60, including dual carriageways, and she had a go at me for driving "above the speed limit" on one

Bring up an old thread but hey! should have had my re-test back in early Feb but got tonsilitis, so had my retake today. Passed with 2 minors :cool:

one for not changing down to 2nd when it was chugging a little bit, and the other for keeping straight through a dead roundabout.

Personally I say learn to drive safely then you'll pass anyway. then you gain experiance and polish to your driving.

Congrats m8. I passed mine first time. August 3rd last year and 10:40 am with 5 minors. In a car i'd only driven the day before. Ken Walsh my instructor @ the Watford test center. Some reason i dont seem able to forget, lol

Congrats on passing, now you enjoy the cost of running a car

You soon realise how much petrols cars drink. Having only driven an instructors car, you dont see how often it gets filled up etc etc. Still good fun driving around free at last! Just be careful, and watch out for other road users. Once them L plates get binned u get treated just like everyone else

Including the muppet I had in front of me a while back doing 45 in a 70 in the outside lane and who, when I flashed him to move over, obviously decided I wanted to go far too fast and that he'd teach me a lesson by standing on the brake pedal.

I'm very glad I (just) managed to stop (well slow) in time as if I hadn't, not only would I have had the hassle of an accident, I'd probably I've beaten him to death with his own arm by the time the police arrived.
