Not what I have found. Confused said I wouldn't get below £1k on the Focus, got it for £750 in the end by looking round myself.

Aye I'd agree with that - however I would use confused.com to get a very good idea of how much you will be paying. For me it's always found me a very good deal, even better than when I rang around companies recommended by friends.
