Passive 3D Projection Stack

Hi,

Anybody here got any experience of using two Projectors in a stack so that you can use passive 3d glasses?

If this is for domestic use then most home users would ask "Why go through all that hassle when 3D projectors start at under £600?"

There are commercial solutions such as the Epson EB W16SK (£2K).

If you are looking at recycling or retasking existing projectors then you should probably be aware that passive 3D requires different polarisation of light for each eye. That'll be a challenge when most projectors already polarise the light in the process of creating an image. One eye will get an image, but the other won't...
