what if the consumer gets a raging headache from active but not passive

Con's for passive -for the consumer
Viewing angles are more restrictive.
Driver support is very limited.
Eye straign / headaches happen to some users

Pro's for Active
The 3D effect is better.
Driver support is much better (from NV)
120hz Monitors are used so when not using 3D you get a smoother experience
Your monitors full resolution is available

I would say the viewing angles are just as good on my LG TV to the 120hz monitor I had before it, my driver support is also from NVidia as I am using an Nvidia card and nvidia passive drivers

I can't notice any difference from the 120hz monitor to the LG TV in terms of smoothness

from my own experience i much prefer passive 3d to active in general, and Nvidia's passive to Nvidia's active in particular too

It's hilarious how you rant about the things of which you are more guilty than anyone else. You're the one being the defensive crusader and spreading a lot of misinformation in the process.

How many times did I say go and read the comparison on Tom's? three?

As for active being problematic for people? it is. They all can be. If you have lazy eye you're not doing 3D like it or not.

Your problem is that like many others you can't take criticism on something you own, have owned, or use. I've more than pointed out the flaws with passive 3D, most notably the ghosting.

Just because I own something it doesn't make me bias or blinkered. Something that most of the human population don't seem to be able to do. Noting of course that I said you can simply DSR if you don't like it.

Stop skim reading what I type and picking up something you don't like before engaging your fingers to the keyboard and read it properly. Amazing how this thread has been turned into a Nvidia 3Dvision fists of fury contest when it started out as a passive 3D thread.

I have no issue with criticism. I have issues with misinformation which you've been trying to spread from day 1 on the 3D thing. I'm just allergic to ********.
