I may just go to france/spain etc but was wondering if you need visa? i know you do for airplanes but what if you take euro star/train?

You're crossing international borders and since the UK isn't part of the Schengen group of countries you will need a passport however you choose to travel but as said no visa will be necessary unless of course you're not a UK citizen and then you may potentially need a visa.

Since the UK is not in the Schengen group of countries then yes, you will need a passport or ID card to travel to Europe.

actually if going to France etc is out of the question.. then do you guys suggest any places in UK to go on holiday? been blackpool/alton towers.. ideally places should have attractions and not just castles..

lol.. i have my passport (i think) but my sister/bro in law have lost theirs.. and i wanted to go in my holidays and i think it would be impossible for them to find it/get a new one..

When are you planning on going on holiday? It only takes 2 weeks, and you can get it super quick if you're willing to pay an extra £50 or so.
