Password generator and store?

What software is there that can generate passwords for websites and then stores them for you so you just type one password for it to log you in to any site?

I have seen it but cannot think what it is called!

Just looking at this as i really do need something to help me control my passwords. Would you say its safe to leave your database file save to your dropbox? My guess it would be ok as its encrypted anyway right?

Only if used in conjunction with a key file. The key file must not touch Dropbox!

As long as the master password on the database is strong so say ~12 characters with mixed case letters, numbers and symbols, that will be fine.
