ie at bootup askes for password any way to get in and change it ..

i know you can make new user etc and such once in

but its there a bootable cd/dvd/usb that like in windows allows you to change password at prompt and then your in..

obvious reason boy changed password on one of macbooks and cant remmeber it .. little darling.. its not really issue im wondering more than anything as it would be handy i guess.

You can change your password by booting from the OSX disk, which will let you change your user password but not your keychain password - so you'll lose any saved passwords for, for example email, websites and so on,

Boot from the disk by holding C at boot with the disk in, then as soon as the top toolbar appears, go Utilities - reset password

There's no way to reset the keychain password unless you have a master password set.
