Password lock or encrypt flash drive or folder

Hey all, been reading and watching vids on how to either encrypt or password lock a folder on a flash drive. Only thing i managed to do is Zip it with a password but its hard to keep updating it with more files and for some reason i cant encrypt with password anymore lol

Any help plz

trying to do for a flash drive or files on a drive

probably could have a portable version of it next to encrypted folder on the drive too, so it could be decrypted anywhere

i sort of agree

So just download veracrypt and got the portatble version and after installing in its file folder got qute a few more options loll

Think im going to watch a youtube vid so i know how to use properly loll

I'd do a full format on the USB drive before using Veracrypt. Otherwise there's a chance of files being recovered on the untouched areas of the USB drive.

damnnn this veracrypt is complicated, mount partititons etc.. haha

I just want a password before going into a folder to be fair. Like i did with winrar which now doesnt seem to want to password encrypt again for some reason
