The files are stored with you and not attached to a big cloud password manager
It's £8 for life and not per year (though that doesn't really bother me paying last pass for premium)

Saying that 1 password seems like a very good alternative to Lastpass too.

For thoes that use 1Password do they have a note(s) addon ??

They use the same method as 1password your choice of cloud services & you can also run it off your nas systems. So your not using 1 service (lastpass) with everthing.

TBH I would rather trust a security company specialising in this rather than a generic cloud service...No?

oh for sure, and I do use Lastpass now: But looking at others and having the ability to know where your passwords are stored and nsa/laws etc. All intresting.

Ultimately...once you upload to a cloud service you are at the mercy of said cloud service...

Exactly. And with Lastpass the passwords are never encrypted in the cloud unlike other solutions.

Me too.

Just exported all my Lastpass passwords as a text file and imported them to Enpass.

bought the android version to complement the desktop one.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I'mm using Google drive for the sync option.

Incorrect...

All of your data is encrypted on your machine first before it is uploaded to the Lastpass server. When you log in again the data is downloaded and then decrypted.
