If it wasn't for the £90 6850's being priced to clear, then there would be no doubt that the 7770 is a great card.

It's faster by 19% than the card it replaced, and was cheaper on day 1 than the 5770 was on day 1, nearly 2 years later.

I've highlighted the bits that let your post down

19% faster after nearly two years is pretty poor progression tbh.

There's 460's 6850's and 6870's for the same or less cost of a 7770, all of which beat it in the performance stakes. Hell for another few quid you can get a 560 which isn't EOL!

About £20 more gets you a much faster 560.

Price needs to drop a lot to compete against older cards and to make the 560 not a viable option.
