Pathetic AMD release...

You are a fanboy, but that 400+ on a 7970 comment wasn't directed at you.
But that's interesting that you thought it was, insecure are we?
I also know what cherry picked benchmarks were, I wasn't linking to any, I linked to a review.

Haha, get a life srsly.

Just because you're out of work/too poor etc to of got the 7950, there's no need to try and nerf it in your own mind to extend your own e-peen.

I was merely stating facts about the 7970 competing with 6970's in crossfire, bias benches or reviews we're not needed.

I wasn't giving a bias review, I was giving a 7970 Crossfire review which contained 6990 and a 7970.

I'm not nerfing the card, I'm being realistic, something you seem out of touch with.

When they have a price tag that they're worth, then yes, they'll sell, but that isn't right now, or the foreseeable future as you, or I, don't know what will happen.

I was holding on for months to buy a HD 7850...

with the ridiculous overpricing and pathetic 7770 performance I think I'll wait on an nVidia new gen card...

what have they been doing for the past 2 years?

their GPU's are following the same path as their bulldozer...

all hype and a complete disappointment!

even the 7970 should have been a lot better

:p

Posting this in forum overwhelmed with AMD fanboys is probably not a great idea. :D

if thats the case then why have a 7770 at all, my post was meant for people who want a 7 series card quoting dave's comment explaining why its not a pathetic release.

Pointless getting a 7770 right now.
The 6850 Crossfire is much better :p
Ergo, 7770 is a pathetic release with its current price.
I can't seem to find a review that compares a 6850 Crossfire to a 7770 Crossfire.
But if you were to look at 6850 versus 7770, the 6850 kills it, they both have around the same crossfire scaling, so it's obvious which will be the faster in Crossfire.

If/when the 7770's are at 80 quid, they'd make very good budget cards.

Go away.....calm down .....have a drink....may i suggest a Martini?

Stirred like what you are doing now ;)

+1

If it wasn't for the £90 6850's being priced to clear, then there would be no doubt that the 7770 is a great card.

It's faster by 19% than the card it replaced, and was cheaper on day 1 than the 5770 was on day 1, nearly 2 years later.
