Pathfinder digital books offer

Nice, went and bought them, unfortunately it seems the paizo website has broken as far as downloading goes, d'oh

A great deal for the amount of material you get. I already have most of it though.

You can also use this site (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/) which contains all the books and extras with the exception of images (open license only goes so far I think)

Picked up a bundle - cheers :)

I don't really get a chance to do much RP these days but it's still interesting to read through source books and steal ideas for running random sessions...

Really good selection for the price, just one of the adventure path books alone is worth that value so with all of those core books included that's a steal.

I'd recommend not bothering to download anything until after the offer ends, their website is getting absolutely hammered at the moment.

Yep, that's my plan, bought already but just left the confirmation email unread in my inbox to remind me to pick them up later.

This really is a decent amount of material for the price.

I redeemed the codes on the paizo website, that lists them all file but yeah, no chance to download at the moment, tried a couple of times but now I'm just waiting.

Bit of a silly website design though frankly, clearly not anywhere close to scalable for high demand times like this.

And after posting that I went back and it seems the core rulebook I 'requested' earlier today (guessing they wipe everything overnight, as I requested it yesterday as well and it wasn't downloading earlier)

So yeah, now getting the core rulebook bit slow but coming down at least and that'll keep my busy reading for a while :p

Pretty much D&D 3.75.

Pathfinder Unchained makes a fair few changes especially to skills. Monks and Barbarians from the Core rulebook get a much needed overhaul.

Amazing offer. Each PDF is rendered with your name on it, and from what I read on the forums, they didn't expect this kind of take up. I did get the Core book and the Bestiary so far.

Hoping to get my kids to use their imagination a little more. :-)

Grab the free We Be Goblins scenarios off the Paizo website, those are excellent for getting kids involved... adults too. :D

tempted to pick this up even though I have never played a GM game like D&D or pathfinder and I don't think my daughter or wife would be up for it... although I am more tempted with the starter pack off amazon for the premade sheets etc...

I find PC Gen to be a fantastic tool for creating characters. It's free and has the majority of books included in its rules so you enable or disable to an extent.

Masterwork Tools is the best app (Android, might be Apple too) which has pretty much everything.

Lots of groups looking for players around the country too so should be quite easy to find a game.

Cheers for the Goblins suggestion suenstar, downloaded it today and looks like it might be a nice intro, both for players and also as a first time GM/DM :)

Also their servers seem to be working better today, got several downloads done (I said I'd wait but I clearly lied :D :p)

So I ran the We Be Goblins scenario last night, first time playing Pathfinder for all of us (well the RPG, we've played the card game so some of the names/locations were familiar) and first time DM'ing for me, which I was very nervous about...

But it all went surprisingly well, took about 4 hours total including setting up and choosing characters etc. The group made some interesting choices, and I'm sure I forgot/messed up at least a few things but it seemed to flow well and they got through the scenario.

It seemed by the end that some of the encounters/the overall scenario was possibly a bit easy for them, some got damaged a bit occasionally but never that badly and managed to dispatch all the enemies easily enough, even the 'boss'.

As a DM it was good fun, few odd moments when they didn't do what they were supposed to so had to make stuff up on the fly, which was easier and more fun than I'd imagined. I also did a shed load of prep/print-outs and didn't need to use most of it, I had too many sheets of paper and failed to organise them that well in the end so something to improve on :p

Cheers again for the suggestion, nice short and amusing scenario that worked really well.
