Hello,

Been trawling the internet for a while trying to find some kind of program which will allow me to enter the dimensions of 50 or so patio slabs, then mess about by dragging them into place to create a design! As a last resort im asking here in case any one can point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

You could use autocad and download similar models of the Rather time consuming and while you are working out the dimensions you could just scale it too pen and paper with brain power.

edit: I thought you meant patio furniture, I have had abit to drink. but patio slabs? graph paper.

We had a patio laid last year using Indian sandstone which came in 4 sizes of flag. I used a combination of Excel with this neat tool snappily called Patio Tile-o-matic (which makes me think of Wallace and Gromit). http://www.cs.nott.ac.uk/~jqm/?p=527

This tool didn't seem to cope with larger non-rectangular areas too well but was really useful for coming up with 'possibles' for smaller areas. The overall layout then ended up in Excel.
