Patriot Memory for Asus P5Q3

[psd99]

Hi,

Can someone tell me if this memory :

Patriot Extreme Performance 4GB DDR3 DUAL KIT 1333MHZ LOW LATENCY 7.7.7.20 DUAL CHANNEL

will give me a post and work on the Asus P5Q3?

How can I work out if any memory will work without actually buying, it is there a website for this?

You'll have to remove the link as it is a competitor and against the forum rules.

Have you checked the memory list on the ASUS website for compatability?

I could only find the motherboard specifications.

thanks for that

It looks like on first impulse the memory I was referring to isn't in that list.

I see one Patriot PDC32G but the one I was looking at is PDC34G. Anyone ever rang Asus before?

Oh one last question if the memory I was looking at is NOT on the QVL does that mean it will definately NOT work?

I wonder how QVL works and if they only test certain brands,
