Pattern Lock only on Android ?

When the screen locks, is there a way to only have the pattern lock display? Instead of swiping unlock and then doing the pattern.

I have a HTC Sensation btw.

On my samsung, you go into Settings, then into Location and security settings, then "Set up screen lock"

As it's still android, it should (he said) be the same on yours

not possible with sense

what i would do, is set up a lock pattern that starts from the bottom
so the unlock procedure is seamless with swiping down.

Only way is to run a ROM without the garbage that is SENSE.

Vanilla android is just so much better than anything else.
