How hard is it to be a suicide bomber, do you seriously need to be trained?

I read the article, including the quotes from the nearby store worker, who laughed, called them dogs and sold corona to the next customer.
Something a bit iffy about that reporting, it reads terribly for a new york times article.
 
Serves the ****er right. Although I wouldn't go so far as to laugh at it, like this guy:

“This is so funny,” Mr. Hashim said. “It shows how stupid they are, those dogs and sons of dogs.”

Maybe I assumed too quickly - no way to tell what living through such things can do to a person's POV.
