PAYDAY 3 on Steam

PAYDAY 3 is a 1-to-4 player co-op FPS and the ultimate heist fantasy, set in the most iconic city in the world. Gone without a trace or through a hail of bullets. Either way, you're getting out with the prize.

The lore going full on clowntown after that car shop or alessi heist dlc is what killed it for me.

It just got completely fast and furious like. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was eventually a space heist dlc. Loved the game before this though.

Payday 2 was good for a period of time. The content came out too slowly so I lost interest after the initial few months of the game. Doing the same missions over and over again became boring.

Later on a year down the line making different builds was ok and a bit fun but it soon died out.

Let's hope for a much more polished game from the beginning, yea right!!

 looks cack and like a 360-era game.

I didn't mean graphically, I meant gameplay. It looks like a ramped up Payday 2 which is good in my book, I loved the second game.

Not everything is about graphics m8, and it definitely "looks" better than a 360 era game, textures, particles and volumetric lighting alone.

Did you play 2?

Yep and the VR mode, wasn't it on a Humble Bundle? Was OK in short bursts but didn't like that it had an insane amount of paid DLC.

Yeah that was one of the problems, the quirky engine issues too but aside that, I really enjoyed it and had good fun with friends. Definitely not a game you can go solo online with randoms.

The missus and I played quite a bit of payday 1/2. Start off with the run and gun play throughs and then move into the stealth runs was a nice dynamic in the second game. i wonder if that will be present in this one. IIRC wasn't Starbreeze involved in some kind of weird financial drama?

anyone know if this is going to be full crossplay - PS5/Xbox/PC?

Steam FAQ says it is, But as its on Gamepass on PC as well as console i will suffer the pain of the MS Store install and save myself £35. As its cross progression as well If i do buy it on PC eventually it will be all good...... Unlike Darktide which was a ., so i have the game installed twice depending on which friend I'm playing with.
