PAYG sim with data - low spend

I'm looking for a PAYG sim that I can whack in my old phone purely for GPS tracking.
I need to find the cheapest way to get approx 5mb per day, ideally without needing a monthly spend.

Are there any PAYG sims that will let me put a tenner on and then will just use that until it runs out?

Tesco are good for that... £10 topup = £30 then £2 per week for unlimited (fup) data.

That's £10 for almost 4 months data use

Edit: T-Mobile also do a £20 for 6 months data booster on payg.

Tesco will triple £10 topups once a month. That gives you £30 credit, spending £2 a week for data gives you 15 weeks use (without any calls/texts)

Free credit takes 48 hours to activate and is valid for one month.

Sounds like you have to use that free credit up during the same month you topped up???

Tesco bonus credit expires after 1 month. So you cannot use the initial topup bonus for next months internet.

It would work out like this if you did try:

Initial top up £10 + £20 bonus.

First 5 weeks of internet comes out of bonus leaving £10 bonus to be used on texts and calls within month 1.

Then 5 weeks of internet would come out of initial topup.

Then topup £10 and repeat cycle. On 28 day Februarys this obviously doesn't quite work.

My recommendation would be getting a T-Mobile SIM and buying 6 month internet boosters for £20 each. £20 buys you 6 months internet with FUP of 1GB a month.

I second the Tmobile £20 for 6 month plan I'm using this in my iPad. Best deal out there.
