Last month I used my CC for the first time, I received a statement on the 3rd for 96 quid or something, logged into online banking and clicked pay statement, checked today and balance has reset to nil and credit limit is back to max so I thought all was well, however if I click pay credit card it still has the option to pay statement of the 96 quid again. Is this normal?

Yes it will always show the minimum payment required for that month until you get the next statement. If your balance is 0 and you can see the payment made on your statement (may take a couple of days to show up) then all is well
