Paying NHS dentist paying direct into his personal account?

So managed to get registered with this NHS dentist and had first appointment today. Probably won’t be going back and stay with my private one as felt like he was doing speed run dentistry. He did the cleaning with the same drill he used for a small filling in under 3mins. Anyhow that’s beside the point.

My question is, is it normal to pay for NHS treatment direct into the dentists personal bank account. They only accepted cash or bank transfer?

Wtf lol sounds well dodgy. Have never heard of any business doing something like that other than builders trying to scam the taxman... And if the dentist isn't paying their taxes then what else aren't they doing...

Then again with the state of NHS dentistry might be the best you'll get as all the half decent ones will be full.

Report that.
Could be really dodgy. Could be serious too. Who knows if he's qualified to do what he's doing. Couldost someone more than cash if hes cutting corners etc.

Jeez that sounds dodgy... Yeah report it if you can be bothered. At least questions it.

Get your teeth done 1st tho :p

I've been trying to think of a way in which it could possibly sound more dodgy, but I'm having trouble. Maybe if they only took payment in Bitcoin or cocaine.

Rush through 40 paying patients who pay untraceably, declare 20 non-paying patients to the NHS and get paid for them too. Sounds like the main problem would be laundering the money.

Maybe I'm cynical and jaded.
