Paying off loan early...

Keep this short and simple.

I have a loan with my bank with a remaining £1100, it has been sapping minor amounts for the last 2 years. Slowly decreasing, this weekend I have decided the hell with it and just pay it all off in one go. Can I simply do that? I have to wait until 0915 to ring the branch. So thought maybe I would ask you lot.

You should be able too, I've a small loan (few hundred quid, nothing major), and if I pay off early, I actually don't have to pay X amount of interest of the remaining amount.

But as ever, I'd ring the bank as opposed to asking on an internet forum. Jesus.

i have had two loans with halifax, both of which i paid off early, and they do not charge you when u do

They most certainly do charge you when you pay them off early, they probably didn't tell you about it.
