Just been sold a dodgy CD on *bay for £24.99, seller is not responding and I don't know his address or telephone no. Just thought I would raise a dispute with paypal and they they say charge a transaction fee of $25 , surely, this can't be right?

Sounds about right. Ebay charge £15 for their buyer protection, making it effectively useless on smaller items. Never claimed through Paypal before but as they're owned by Ebay I wouldn't be surprised if they had something similar in place.

;) ;)

Will fix the xmas expense I guess... dont jump into it so quick though :D

Give him a week or so then crush him :p

(And his bank balance)

Hehehehehe PayPal - nobody cares about problems others have until it happens to them.

If you track a post back I made they were holding funds, eventually they got released and I closed the account right away.

Nochex 4tw :) - for the UK anyway!

Dont bother contacting ebay or paypal, they are useless and self serving. Hopefully you paid with a credit card and you should raise the issue with them as they are legally obliged afiak
