I have two sets of currencies in my paypal account, GBP is set to primary. Now I want to get rid of the euros in my account by buying some stuff off a site that uses euros. Now will this automatically withdraw euros from the account of will it do stupid stuff and convert my gbp to euros to buy it?

It'll use EUR if the transaction is in EUR.
I also have some sitting in PayPal, refuse to change at the terrible rate they give so waiting for something to spend it on (or someone to exchange it with!)

Anyway, before finalising transaction PayPal will confirm where funds are coming from
