I've reached my lifetime spending limit with my Paypal account and to get my amount raised I need to become verified. This grinds on me a bit because surely my previous payments and good track record with my credit card are enough for them to realise that I am who I say I am without having to hand over bank account details.

Has anyone had problems with this? I know the details I give them are nothing that wouldn't be on a cheque but the fact I feel I'm giving them access to an account my wages and other transactions I make come in & out of makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.

I'm thinking I could open an account strictly for paypal & keep a small amount in it although still pay using my credit card.

Any verifed members have any issues with it or did you open an account strictly for Paypal?

Thanks Bri, I'm thinking theres no reason for there to be issues but I'm probably being over cautious about giving them access to my account.
