PC-7 'real-life' shot please

I'm trying to decide if I want this case or not.

Could anyone direct me to or post some 'real-life' shots of the PC-7 in black and in white please?

Also, does the case have 1x120mm back and 1x120mm front? Some sites I've seen it says 80mm back

One more thing: will a 45cm SATA (I think that's a normal size SATA) fit from the bottom to top? I'm getting a SATA DVD drive, will I need to get a 90cm?

EDIT

Oh, and has anyone had any problems fitting a 8800GTX in a PC-7... the 8800s look rather long..

Thanks,
Craig.

Some great pics here, am looking forward to getting mine :D

Agreed, I'm looking forward to getting mine as well :D

I'll hopefully be able to order the side panel, some bezels and maybe a HD rack to stop the drives from rattling as well :)

the hdd rack is a very good purchase. it totally silenced my raptor which was very annoying to start of within this case.

Nice.

Do these racks take 2 DVD drive spaces (5.25" I think) and convert them into 3 hard drive spaces with a fan @ the front?

EDIT

Answered my own question: 2 5.25" bays = 3 3.5" with this one: http://www.lian-li.com/product/product06.php?pr_index=40&cl_index=2&sc_index=5&ss_index=12&type=b

Leaves enough space for a DVD drive & a sexy fan controller :p

I think that expansion thingy would make a good investment especially as it comes with a 120mm fan on the front.... I'd then take out the existing hard drive bays to allow more airflow through the front fan, just like you have P A N I C :)

EDIT

Can the hard drive bays be used in the normal place (bottom right) rather than taking 2/3 5.25" slots?

Thanks,
Craig.

Very nice, thanks for all the pics everyone. :)

PESolution: what's the see-through side panel like? Is it nice high quality plastic that still looks good after a while (some of the cheaper side panels get kind of 'misty' after a while).

Thanks,
Craig.

I love how quiet it is compared to my old case too, and my temps have dropped too

Are there any quieter/better fans than the stock ones ? I might get some on friday when i get paid.

Yate Loon fans are supposed to be the best at the moment. You can get blue LED ones as well which you could put at the front to shine through the holes ;)

yeah they look ok don't they. i wonder if ocuk will be stocking them in.
i know i would buy some if they do :)

hmm do any of you put a fan in the top 80mm hole? and does it help in anyway?

I doubt a 80mm would do much at the top... apart from make the case noisier :p

Ordered my PC yesterday (including PC-7B PLUS II) ;)

im thinking of getting this case for my new build.
My question... the case will sit straight in front of me on the floor, is the airflow from the fan in the front quite significant, i.e. will i be able to feel airflow on my feet?
Ta.

Not sure how much you'd feel it if you have the front fan sucking, I don't think much. If it was blowing you'd feel quite a wind on you.

What about if you need to install something from a disc though? or if a new game comes out? external drive?

Also just to contribute to the thread, my PC7

Looking good, although you should get a lian li bezel for that cd-drive :D

When I get my new PC with the PC-7B it'll have a bezel on the cd drive and below the Scythe Kama meter ;)

I'll be able to post pics of the beast on 17th July.

I think someone should rename the topic title to "Official Lian-Li PC7 Club" :D

I've just taken some pics of mine while i had a little hoover in there, and stuck my Ninja back in :)

Eventually i will replace my Pioneer 111D with a black drive, and add a Zalman ZM-MFC2 Multi Fan Controller

Very nice, perfect pics for me as I am also using the Ninja on my new PC. Nice to see the Ninja doesn't take over the whole case like it does with my current one.

Well I just spent £3 on some LEDs for the front, I bought two. They are quite expensive, but I bought a blue one with 10000mcd, and a red one with 6000mcd - If you buy some of the 'superbright' ones from the popular electronics shop the most you'll get is 4000mcd...so these are going to be BRIGHT. :D

The place I got them sells all sorts, but blue only comes in 10000mcd or 3000mcd including a flashing eliment. I just wanted plain colour, plus it has to shine through the little plastic bits on the front, so it should cut down on the brightness. I do love the warning though...

I'll use the Blue one for the power and the Red one for the HDD activily, unless I decide that the blue one is too bright, then it may have to be on the HDD.

I'll post up piccies of chaning the LEDs once the arrive, and obviously final product images. :)

Are they easy to change the LEDs? I'd like to do blue/red myself :)

Here's mine:

E6600, BFG8800GTX, Gigabyte P35-DS4, 500GB WD5000AAKS, 2x1GB Geil Ultra 6400, Corsair HX620w, Scythe Ninja + Rev. B, Samsung SH-S203/BEBN, Sony floppy!
