Ah, all is clear now. :) I know you had bough a DG, but hadn't realised you had phones already. :)
 
The DG's amp should improve the DR150's even further, with the highest setting. 64-150 ohm I believe. Although the DR150's sound superb without the need for a dedicated amp, unlike the NS1000's with the ANR turned off, they do benefit from a dedicated amp.
