Right, So I have been able over the weekend to spend some more time with it.
I have removed the board and CPU w/cooler out of the case and plugged it into a normal Full size ATX PSU.
I have tried another graphics card, as well.
But still nothing, I have tested with and without ram, on 3 completely different monitors one of which a TV. and with 3 different VGA cables, both with the onboard and the GPU. and still nothing.
When I simply boot the machine with just the board and CPU. it sounds fine, but as soon as I slot some ram in the DIMM slots it starts making the 2 beeps every second.
Im guessing that its either the CPU or the Mobo at this point.
Surely if the Motherboard was fried the whole system wouldn't power on? or show signs of posting.
I have had a look at the CPU and it looks fine, but was wondering if there is any way to sort of clean the pins as they are so small, I think I can see a dab of thermal paste on one but I cannot get to it without causing damage.
Any Ideas?
