PC Boot Problems..

Hi all,

I have had my rig for about 1 and a half years with almost zero problems. Recently however, whenever I hit the power button, the PC turns on for about 1 second, then turns itself off, and then after about 5 seconds, turns on again. After this it runs without a problem. Is this something anyone has noticed before or that I should be worried about?

Thanks,
James

I have this problem but only when I remove the power cable from the PSU and plug it back in.
So when I upgrade something in my case I will unplug, open it, install, then plug it all back in, press power, starts, turns off after a second, waits 5 seconds and turns on. If I restart it or turn it on day to day it just turns on normally...very odd.

Can't help you but if someone has a solution to our problems would be nice :)

Is your pc Overlclocked? if so It's when you press the start button the pc detects that it's overclocked so shut's down, loads all the settings and then reboots with the overclocked settings. Nothing to worry about.also yes if you unplug or turn off at the wall when you next turn pc on it will do it....if you dont unplug or turn off at the wall it wont do it
