Technically you'd see some uplift, but for the price difference between it and the 5700X3D you'd be better off going for the 5700X3D as you'll see far better gains in gaming.
It's the L3 cache that helps a lot, the X3D chips have more of it so even though the 5800X (not X3D) has faster clock speeds it'll ultimately be worse.
You'd be much, much better off going for a 5600 (do not get the 5500, it has lower L3 cache than even the standard/non X3D chips) if you're looking for gaming CPU uplift on a tight budget, which should be achievable for around £100, or a lot less if you're willing to go second hand.
