Thanks for all your help. I shall give this a go tomorrow and start everything up. Do all fans come with a standard connection such as the 3 pin?

The fans in your case have the connections you plug into those other 4 ends on your pictured wires. If you opt not to use the built in fan controller you would plug your case fans into the fan headers on your motherboard directly

I understand it now, thanks for that link RJC, so the 4 spare headers coming from the fan controller are for extra fans! Duh stupid me. Atleast now i understand! Only if the instructions explained this it would make life much simplier lol. Thanks for your patience.

Thats ok, we are here to help, I did have a look at the instruction manual but did not make any wiser!
