I need a new pc as my laptop is on its last legs, however being a student creates a limited budget so I was wondering if you guys could help me.

I'd like a decent gaming pc, able to run new releases at fairly high settings for about £700-£800.
The price would need to include the pc itself, windows and a new monitor.

Any help would be great.

Thanks :)

Only 90 day warranty though, that's a big negative for just £10 saving.
And with a lot of coil whine reports on GTX 970, I'd be a bit wary about B-Grade ones.
I'm not saying its a bad idea, I'm just not sure I think its worth it for a small saving.

Agreed. Even if card is in good condition, the warranty takes a huge hit for just £10 saved.

With 250GB SSD.

I think the monitor is worth a punt at that price. Could return it for refund immediately if you notice anything dodgy. Check with OcUK if they would give you the full refund.

You may or may not need keyboard & mouse and headset too. You didn't say. If you do, taking out the 1TB drive would cover the cost. Can buy more storage later on.

Case only brings a rear fan. Can get the case Lemin specced which brings a front fan too. But that one has a USB 3 port at the front and if you wanted to use it, you'd have to change the motherboard in my spec.

These look very nice and Danny I'm likely to go with pretty much yours, was wondering about the case however, would this case work with what you said? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-019-BX
As I may be able to get this case cheap from a friend.

Thank you all for helping!

The Shinobi will work. Fits that long GPU. I hear it gets pretty hot though, cooling isn't the best. Be prepared to mod side or front panel eventually, perhaps. I'd take it over the Aerocool anyway.

It has two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports on the top/front. Would you need to use all four, or would the two USB 2.0 be fine? It's because of the motherboard - doesn't have USB 3.0 for the front, only at the rear.
