PC Build - HHD ???

Morning,

Hopefully if the delivery man in doing his job today i should start building my PC

I plan on running two drives in RAID arrangement and a second drive for data, I've looked at the various forums and websites out in the ethernet and I'm not 100% clear of the settings required for the jump setting and BIOS set-up.

I take it for the OS disks i have them in RAID 0 mode
What do you set the data disk at???? :confused:

????

Also I'm running XP and I don't have a floppy drive.

A kind knowledgeable person mentioned nLite to set the disk arrangement up, had a look at the website and from what i can gather the software only works once you have initially installed XP

A anyone please help me and explain in simple term the steps i need to take to get the RAID arrangement & data HDD setup correctly first time

Firstly, go and borrow a floppy drive.

Secondly, what hard drives did you buy?

Bought 2 Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 200GB ST3200820AS SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM for RAID arrangement

AND

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB ST3320620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM for my data information

I would personally run the two smaller drives in RAID 0 for OS, apps and data, then have the 320GB one for backup.
