you upped you're budget? go AM5 in that case...ryzen 7 5800x !!!! ive heard b550s are good
R u transitioning into a Robot ?im switching to android soon anyway
nice..i have the 5800x with a b550 strix board. The msi i put above still best value proposition..if you want more premium loook and full size atx then the asus b550 gaming f wifi " is £157 and will look premium. the 5800x runs quite hot so you'll need to get a cooler for it (my memory fading a bit but that was case when i was researching when i got mine). I'd still consider the 7600 over the 6600 and flog the game if you can..it's a faster gpu for not that much more theni found it on sale so my budget is kind of the same i can just splurge on other things

#if you have I'd go someting like below. Case is subjective, but decent quality and on offer..can always add fancy fans later. I'd maybe wait for jan sales...the mobo was down at £150 a couple of weeks ago, and the cpu was £194...also the slightly more powerful 7600x was reduced to £199.99 (that has same gaming performance of a 5800x3d..the 7600 only slightly behind by a few %)...so below should allow future upgrades on cpu and also gpu.
Went with 7600 over 6600 as although £50 diff, you get the pandora game with the 7600 and you can sell that for £25/30, so diff £20/25..and the 7700 is 28% faster on av than the 6600 in 15game av on Hardware unboxed with what will effectively be 10% more
psu is 850w and atx3.00 so can run 4000 series nvidia cards and enought o power a 4080 so got a bit of longevity there..has a 7yrs warranty...went with a 1tb nvme to keep costs down, but could get a cheaper case and go 2tb i guess
