@Psycho Sonny I think it stems from you calling those people who enjoy these games as "sad", which I would tend to disagree with.

I was expecting to see yet another playway game that is bug ridden and barely finished, although not my cup of tea this seems to have a fairly solid beginning.

There is worse, all the weird Japanese anime inspired "games" on Steam like Hatoful Boyfriend and Panty Party
I hope they have a 90s version featuring jumpers, dip switches and configuring IRQs also known as hard mode
Do you have to load software as well, nothing better than starting over when you forgot if you should load the graphics or the sound driver first and it locks up. I remember the joy of loading MS office when it came on 40 floppies as well

People can make money from almost anything can't they! What a ridiculous idea for a game!
There was something very satisfying about flipping them, usually with the narrowest screwdriver you could find.

Especially with all the "product placement" in this game
Can't wait for all the threads to pop up on here reading something like 'I bought this part I saw on PC Building Simulator but it is not giving me the same performance it did in the game!!!'

I quite enjoyed playing this. It doesn’t have much replay value in its current state. It has become quite repetitive at level 12.
I’ll be interested to see what future updates bring but it does have addictive qualities... just one more day... one more build... one more upgrade.

I have been watching twitch streams of this, it can be very educational for those that don't know or have no experience in PC building, expect more rises in hardware prices when a whole new bunch of people join the hardware market!!!
