Pc crashes locks up after ssd

installed its the x25 80gb one...been working ok but the last hour or so the screen just goes black and pc is not responsive.....i have to reset it...anyone got any ideas thanks

I had to reset my BIOS to optimised defaults when I installed my Vertex LE as it caused my overclock to become unstable. If your pc is overclocked you may want to try the same.

no not overclocked...but think it might have had something to do with the power settings....i messed with them before changed back seems ok now...ill just monitor it for a while see what happens again thanks.

now listen to this one you know i said it crashed then i disabled all my drives and it worked ok ive connected the drives one by one even my raid.....now it dosnt crash how weird is that ......do you think its possible windows has allocated different resources to them doin that .

Its quite possible. When I reset my BIOS the system updated the table of connected devices before booting and worked OK for a couple of days (I now have a vanishing SSD problem). I have had a similar issue in the past when I installed my 4 disk RAID without clearing the BIOS as it would cause windows to crash during installation.

i think my problems with the graphics card as well as that i causing no end of problems works then dosnt wort flickers goes alright for a bit...ill just keep a eye on it for a while though
