pc crashes while playing games.. screen turns black and wont turn off

hi.. so

i recently build a new pc for myself but now when playing certain games my pc just goeas black.. all the fans and lights turn off and i cannot turn the pc off with the power button.. i have to do this on the mains

it was crashing on world of warcraft untill i turned the graphics down and now its crashing on pubg... my pc should be able to handle each game on ultra ..

specs are

windows 10 pro 64 bit

ax370 gaming k5 motherboard

amd ryzen 7 2700 8 core 3.2g/hz

16 gb corsair vengence 3200

rx vega nitro 64 sapphire

the windows reliability report says hardware crash but doesnt point me to anything inparticular

any help will be appreciated

system reliability most of the time will say
critical events
windows windows was not shut down properly
but will occationally say hardware issue

thermals are ok.. nothing really gets above 50 Celsius

No overclock... but I dont see why I should have to underclock if I'm honest..

Also it doesnt crash on vr games
I also have vr connected

so... turns out my graphics card is a thirsty bitch.. 700w pse is NOT enough lol.. ive underclocked the gpu and this has solved the issue.... thanks for the replys though
