pc crashes with white screen

thanks guys its all running cool, ive cleaned it.

im planing on getting a new motherboard/ram/cpu tomorrow (sandy bridge)

just a little worryed that its the powersupply but i cant see how? its works fine no matter what i do stress tests ect, only when its left alone,

its a 850w corsair psu, and my rig is an athon x2? cant be drawing more then 400w?

kinda worryed as i dont want to spend my last £350 and then need a new psu? the one i have does have a 7year warranty

could it just be the age of the PC?
 
dont belive this, after trying everything today i brought and build a sandy brigde rig at my freinds fired up great!, came home to play portal 2,

same problem, its was the bloody screen!, the last thing i would think to check!

well thanks for all your help chaps, at least i got a powerful pc out of this :/
