PC crashing problems

Hi guys

I have been having a lot of pc crashing the last week or so .
But feel that i need to pick some brains round here .

I think I have pinpointed the problem after days of messing round taking things out and putting them back in over time of testing each part ,very frustrating at times .

I started out with

2x670 cards sli ,i7 2600k 8gb of ddr3 1600hz xms3 corsair ,Sound Asus card STX ,mobo is GA-Z68X-UD3P-B3 bios is F7 i have tried other Bios on it older and new yet still having the same problem ,

So I was getting this locking and then crash in windows and is dos window or even in the bios when I was trying to reset things and see if there was any things I could change to fix my crashing ,Any ways to cut and long story sort ill get right to the problem of what I think maybe and seems too be 99% sure is it the problem ,

If I go to bios and switch on PROFILE 1 for ram the pc will work fine boot to window get into game and the game will feel lagy and show high fps then crash after about five to tens mins playing . Then when I go back to the bios I get this message saying the system crashed or some thing went wrong due overclocking there as been nothing overclocked and the cpu is running at stock speed because of the crashing I set all to stock ,Yet the pc thinks that its overclocked ,So was reading on the net about this PROFILE this and intel was saying it some thing that was created for gaming hardware ie ram ,To make faster and better for gaming .Yet if I have it of the game feel really bad and the fps is a lot lower even with SLI enabled . But no crashing ,But get a really bad head from it as i can notice the change in the smoothness , For love of God can not work out why its doing it ,

I all so changed the ram round took two out and move round slot 1 slot 2 , so getting little frustrated now where I going to lose my mind and smash it all up loool .

So what do you think I can do to get this sorted or is this a mobo problem you think ?Really to get this sorted its driving me CRAZY GUYS :(

All so if you need any bios photos i can post if that would help me fix this problem .

OK I just made a sort 10 min recording of the bios and started BF3 to show the crash .
For some reason in this video when I went to the bios the CPU was set to 38Ghz but each time i went to change to 34Ghz it was jumping back to 38Ghz strange you will see in the video .

I hope posting youtube vids here is OK all i want is some help that's all nothing more not trying to make money from youtube .

When did this first happen? Gaming, casual use?
Did you have the system overclocked before? Has it been working fine?
What is your PSU?
If you use the 'Load Optimized defaults', how does the PC perform?
I would also recommend updating to the most recent BIOS just to keep it consistent. The beta isn't a bad choice, but that's up to you.

try manually setting dram voltage to 1.55v after setting xmp profile 1

then set cpu/vtt to 1.08v
and manually set bclk to 100 then test again

locking at windows start then locking at dos reboot window nothing loading stopped . Then in games and at desktop or at window loading screen , The pc was overclocked before all the problems start to 4.4Ghz now at stock 3.4Ghz ,The problem started just a week ago , What it was i had another mobo from overclockers but RMA that back for refund before 14 days were up and went back to my old mobo ,Which was working perfectly well before swapping over to the other mobo and back again ,Now nothing but problems .

I have amazing cooler master silent pro 700watt power supply that as been doing a great job for the last year on this rig so I think its not that ,even when i take hardware out the PC I still getting the same problems .

Ill try this and get back thanks fingers crossed .

Still same crash in-game . And all so I notice when I put ram profile_1 on the CPU clock changes to 38 turn it off and it go's to 34 really strange its as if there is a bios problem ,I was looking to see if I could load another maybe bios profile but seems you cant on this mobo . So looks like the mobo as problems :( means I need to start spending money which I don't really have right now ,pc can be real pain when they start to go wrong .Problem is there is no point me getting another Z68 mobo because the prices are still up there with the newer Haswell one .I don't really want to upgrade to be honest just wanted to wait for Haswell-E next year 8 core 16 threads .so it will be unwanted spending shame really .

TBH, you ask for troubles yourself :)
Coolermaster PSU ? Some guys call those PSUs "CoolerDisaster". I'd change it to something more reliable, especially having SLI.
I hope you do whole reset CMOS procedure right (with power off, standby, etc).
And you might check CPU socket - maybe some pins has been slightly bent, it's very fragile component, so if you just re-seat or change CPU, or change mobo - probability of bending the pin raises. This is very common in case of system instability.
Always operate on the newest BIOS version. Some beta-revisions might be better, but it's still BETA.
And some mobos do have problems with Auto memory settings, so just visit Corsair page and see which parameters does your memory have and set it up manually in BIOS, including freq, timings and voltage. Re-seat memory sticks to proper slots as well, according to manual advice :)

that's the latest beta bios for that board,it might be the uefi bios

Thanks yeah I did garbed that from gigabytes site but at the moment I cant find my usb stick as that's the only way to install that .

what are your cpu temps like, did you use new thermal paste when you reseated the cpu and heatsink, cause i remember my friends pc used to slow up before it overheated

Real temp is showing max 25c 24c 20c 32c min 22c 22 c 17c 29c runing temps
24c 23c 20c 31c so all pretty low .

Was all working fine then all just started acting up nothing was changed this is what I don't understand , I think its got to be pointing to motherboard problem not 100% but its looking that way .

I'm still here ;) you'll have to see how it is over the next few days

Yeah just been playing some BF3 and no crashing so far :)

I all so put the second card back in as I was getting crashing with both in there but still no crashing at this time so I really hopping its sorted the problem out for me .As I don't really want to upgrade this year I would like to wait until new chip set comes our some thing next year 2014 .
