I put a new PC together last month, fresh install of windows and everything has mostly been fine, however recently i'm experiencing crashing in the games i'm playing and i'm not sure what is causing it. Games i'm referring to are Rocket League, CS:GO and Escape from Tarkov.
The type of crashing seems to depend on what game i'm playing, but most of the time the games freeze, I hear the sound of the game for up to 5-10 seconds, then the game will either minimize (can't be recovered - normally with CS:GO) or i'll receive a no signal input on the monitor(s) (normally with Escape from Tarkov). The fans and the lighting will continue to run, however I'll either have to force quit the application or restart the PC.
PC spec is:
- Asus TUF Gaming X570
- Ryzen 3600
- AMD Radeon 5700 XT
- 16GB Corsair LPX
- 1TB WD Blue m.2
- Corsair 550W PSU
My assumptions would be that maybe a recent driver is causing the problem, overheating, issue with the gfx card or i have noticed that sometimes i get game freezes when my ethernet 'adapter' loses connection temporarily (not a direct feed into the router).
I'm wondering what the best way is to analyse what's causing the issue? Any help would be appreciated!
