Having a problem with a mates pc, after turning it on it continuously cuts out after a short period of time without warning, in bios and windows (if it gets that far).
Have tried a different PSU, memory, graphics card and hard drive and the problem still persists. Is it likely the motherboard would be causing a problem like this?
Spec:
ASUS SIS Chipset motherboard
AMD Athlon 3200+
ATI Radeon 9600XT AGP
Maxtor Diamondmax 9 HDD
Optronix 400W Power Supply
512MB DDR RAM
Any suggestions as to what may be the problem?
