PC Dead Help wanted please

My pc an old evsham has suddenly stopped working there is power to the base unit (green light around start up button) but when depressed nothing happens
having swapped the PSU this has made no difference nothing happens inside the PC.. is this a problem with the actual power swtich ? and if so how can it be fixed.. OR is there anything else I can try to see if I can get it to power up?

Thanks for the replies I have tried to short the connections for the power button but again there is no response just a light which comes on around the actual power button... this is present which ever power supply I connect be it the original one or the one that I know works in another pc.. Does this mean that the chances are its the actual mobo that is dead?
