PC Decision - 2 Specs Inside

thewy charge about £200 iirc correctly...goes up if you add loads of fans..hubs etc. if you dont want white ram sticks, ocuk have black corsair rgb vengeance 6000c30 for £20 more ithink. The liamn li 216 has excellent reviews..depends if you want to wait for it to arrive at ocuk..could ask when you ring them. they'll ask you to email in the parts you want, and they'll send you a breakdown and cost of building..basically part price then build cost at bottom..that's pretty much it. Corsair rm1000e isn't same quality as the rm1000x..has 7 year warranty vs 10yrs for latter..but then a lot cheaper
and as put above, if you want rattracing, then it's nvidia, not amd for gpu

Ended up speccing a pre-build and going with it, was spending too much time messing around being indecisive!

Both of the builds you have selected are high-end gaming PCs and should be able to handle 1440p gaming without any issues. The difference between the two builds is that the Intel build is using the latest Raptor Lake processors, while the AMD build is using the Zen 4 processors, which are not yet released. So, it's difficult to make a direct comparison between the two.

In terms of the graphics card, the RTX 4070 Ti TUF Gaming OC and the RX 7900 XTX Gaming are both high-end graphics cards that should be able to handle 1440p gaming without any issues. However, the RTX 4070 Ti TUF Gaming OC is a hypothetical graphics card as the RTX 30 series have not yet been replaced by NVIDIA.

Regarding the motherboard and PSU, both builds have high-end components, so an 850W PSU should be sufficient for both builds. However, if you want to future-proof your build, you can consider getting a higher wattage PSU, such as 1000W or above, which will provide enough headroom for upgrades or overclocking.

Overall, both builds are good, and you can't go wrong with either. However, if you want to use the graphics card from the AMD build with the Intel build, make sure that the graphics card is compatible with the Intel build's motherboard and PSU.

I think the poster is using something like Chatgpt. It's training data goes up to Sep 2021, so although it knows about the 4070ti, the card didn't exist back then so it's 'theoretical', hence so of the convoluted responses. I just saw another response regarding some ram on a z370 mobo, and thought I'd give it a go...low and behold , i got a similar response, also recommending the same ram

Cheers :)

It looked like so much word soup to me.

The compatability is part of the reason I ended up going prebuilt, if there's an issue I'll get contact and offered a viable alternative! Win 11 USB & key at the ready, current pc will be moved into the outbuilding to act as a business pc for my proposed WEEE business! ☺️

Just got to play the waiting game for it to be made now, and settle on a monitor/some monitors, can't decide between flat or curved) and then maybe a 100% size mechanical kb, ideally wireless w/ USB C recharging.
