i got mine from argos, its a big 5 foot long 2 foot deep glass desk she's a monster lol!
gives me plenty of room for my junk and to spread out i like my keyboard and mouse wide apart when i am fraging on source.
A carpenter build mine to exactly how I wanted. Solid, sturdy and without legs plenty of shelf space too. It cost me £200 (desk and two long shelfs. Now I know that sounds quite a bit but when you think of what you get with flat packed stuff, then you have to make it, £200 is a bargain really. Basically, you get what you want.
cost me £100 new 2 years ago the one they have now is slightly different in design but along the same lines and £89.99 so you cant really go wrong big stylish and the glass is about 10-12mm thick and sturdy as well.
don't pay any attention to the ghetto mouse mat cant be bothered to purchase a new one so A4 paper and electricians tape does me nicely
Ikea (I know im gonna get stick for this as Im Swedish) do some pretty good cheap tables. Cant remember what they are called but they are pretty sturdy and can be had (with legs and possibly all the screws) for round £20-25. These arent designated computer tables though, rather just normal tables.
Got mine from ikea, its just a large desk not a purpose built computer table but you can choose you different finishes of top and purchase the legs seperate aswell, cost me £30 for the whole table .. very sturdy.

It is the 2407. I'm not a big gamer but I've had no problems playing FEAR at native with full eye candy. TBH I would normally use the NEC for gaming as I prefer it for gaming. The DELL is used for work.
Built mine ( i make salon furniture ) legs cost me £24 they are 4" round chrome columns and the top is 25mm birch ply, laminated in a colour called zebrano, looks brill. Top cost me £5 to charity box lol.
Just need a new chair now, seen one at work with hydraulic lift, instead of gas pump, £70 to me
