get a live CD like ubuntu and see if that boots up, if it does then your best bet will be to flatten the HDD and do a fresh install, if it fails to boot you are most likely looking at a hardware issue. As silly as it sounds make sure you have tried re-seating the ram, also remove the power from the case for a few mins can cure any number of random i don't want to play issues.

thanks gav already tried iv narrowed it down to hardware think it might be my cpu was gaming on her last night on tomb raider since then she havent come back on

That strangely sounds like a problem I had when I got my RMA'd system back but my CPU cooler was damaged in transit (well just the small metal bit that connects it in place) and it was causing my PC to overheat to the point it required shut-down. I mean it was like 96 degrees idle but now that I connected it, it was around a stable 37-40 degrees idle last time I checked. It got up to the windows flag but always BSOD'd or automatically shut-down/restarted.

So since it may be your CPU can you go into the BIOS and look at the CPU temps? This sounds like exactly what I went through.
