PC for friend

Hey there, I've specced a pc for a friend but not too sure on the CPU & Motherboard combination. Would you guys be able to tell me if this would all work fine or not. If you have other suggestions the pc needs to cost £600-£610 max!

The pc will be used for some gaming, web browsing, movies & music.

It'll work yeah, but tbh I wouldnt be building a socket 775 system from new now, its outdated tech, youd be better looking at AM3 route, have a read of this thread for info if you like

I was a bit concerned also about a 775 system, I just wasn't sure how the Phenoms match up to Intels Quad range. I'll see how he feels about the Tri core option.

Mattey1 unless your friend really likes that case get him the antec 300 case so much better than the Antec VSK 2000 Case.

Or the NZXT Beta, better and cheaper than the Antec 300. There's also the xClio Propeller.
