Pc froze today for the 1st time twice..had to restart to get it running..
checked event viewer to see what was causing the problem and this is what i got

Tcpip
TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts.

Dhcp
Your computer was not able to renew its address from the network (from the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 001A4D53D4B1. The following error occurred:
The operation was canceled by the user. . Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server.

any ideas how to resolve this??..thanks

Neither of those errors should cause the PC to freeze....

The TCPIP limit is very common, but never have i had it freeze a machine, same with the DHCP error.

I'd be inclined to think something else is causing the freezes...

ok..i get other errors now..bsod..Ntfs.sys,win32k.sys
i think i fixed that problem by doing a windows repair chkdsk /r
most recent ones are...memory_corruption and ipnat.sys
used windows debugger.
you think its time to rma my ram??
or is there another problem??
