PC game controller?

360 is the go to. But I kept getting bad hand cramps using mine, bought a PS4, a bluetooth dongle, plugged them all in and downloaded the software.

Painless gaming within 2 min setup work, I can also plug it in and use it with a cable if it needs charging. No need for button configs or suchlike, and after 10 years playing on xbox I know where the button are on the pad so I don't mind the screen displaying the incorrect buttons in the game.

If X1 wireless was out when I bought I would have been tempted however.

It should be out very soon, it was it's reputed to come out in the "Fall" but it will only be windows 10 compatible.

Disappointing to know that it will only work with Windows 10. I see no reason why both Windows 7 and 8 shouldn't be supported. I was planning on buying the dongle as well, but not if it means I'll have to buy a new OS with it.

If ur gaming surely the best option is to upgrade to windows 10 anyway? DX12.
The said months back the receiver was going to be for windows 10.

I only plan on upgrading to Windows 10 when I feel there are enough DX12 games out to justify the purchase. Seeing as it took several years for most games to begin taking advantage of DX11, I doubt I'll be getting Windows 10 any time before 2017. But I may be proven wrong...

I use A DS4 with input mapper works no problem. Some games show xbox controllers but they are easy to work out only 4 different really.

DS4 for me, just download DS4windows and Pinnacle Game Profiler and you good to go. Some games like Madmax and Batman Arkham Knight work out of the box with ds4 with the correct buttons and logos etc

My first 360 wired died on me after a couple of years. I used to wrap the wire around it & I think that's what killed it.

My second one has just developed a squeak in the left analog stick. Only had it since march so not too impressed.

How about the speedlink xeox pro analog? Anyone had experience with it?
