ok, so when are some decent PC games coming out then?

There hasnt been any decent, big title games out for months now. The scene is totally dead atm. You see all these adverts for 360 titles that look groovy, but it seems us pc gamers are being neglected.

People are buying 8800's and C2Ds, yet there's bugger all to play on them, I bet people who have spent £800 on upgrades are scratching their heads thinking, "right, ive done a 3dmark06... erm, what now, maybe i'll play BF2 or CS at 400fps..."

I personally blame it on a transitionary period between XP and Vista and DX9 and DX10. Some bigger titles have been held back in order to include DX10 compatibility, games like Hellgate London etc.

done to death this , buy a 360 if you want cosmetics over gameplay or use the search function and look at the other thousand threads like this for answers

It really is true - there's no games at all that take full advantage of even an X1900, except maybe Oblivion.

Not me. I've just brought an Antec 900 case, Hiper TypeR 580W and a 7900GS 512MB. My thought is that these will tide me over until Vista is bedded in, DX10 is starting to become prelavent and the price of the DX10 cards has dropped somewhat. Best £230 I've spent for a while, I can play BF2, FEAR, Guild Wars and all my other games at maximum settings with a constant 60fps+.
